Networking and projects launched

Networking and projects launched: objectives reached for the contact seminar organized by AEF-Europe!

Dedicated to educational methods to fight educational inequalities, the seminar was attended by 60 participants from 17 european countries. For two days, from the 30th of November to the 2nd of December, they were able to exchange, brainstorm and work on future joint projects.

Inspiring practices
First objective reached: to stimulate reflection around the theme of the seminar!
Case Studies on Relegation in the school system and presentations by Teach for Belgium (coaching teachers working with pupils in difficulty) and Toekomst-Workshop of the Future (extracurricular accompaniment of disadvantaged children) have nourrish the discussions.

Support for project management
The essentials of project management were discussed: identification of needs and stakeholders, definition of the objectives and the strategy to be adopted. What is the added value? To provide participants with project management concepts and tools, prior to any Erasmus + application.

Active participation
Movement, experience for a better exchange: icebreaker activities, experimentation of a non-formal learning method, individual reflection, brainstorming, subgroup work. Each participant was able to share his own reality on the field and ideas for future European collaborations.

Tangible results
1 and a half days of exchanges have allowed the participants to leave with visiting cards and to bring out about ten themes of projects.

The numbers speak for themselves:
- 93.9% of those responding to the evaluation form have said that the seminar had enabled them to establish contacts with potential partners.
- 30.3% of those responding to the questionnaire wished to apply for a mobility project and a partnership project, 27.3% to a partnership project, 24.2% to a mobility project and 9.1 % to a project at the next call for applications.
