ROMA SPIRIT 2022

We are looking for exceptional individuals, organisations and activities that deserve an award!

It is already the 14th time the public have a chance to nominate inspirational people, stories and activities for a Roma Spirit award.

Do you know someone who deserves to be awarded for being a role model in mutual tolerance and understanding without prejudice and stereotyping? Nominate them for this year’s Roma Spirit award!
    

Help us promote and award an exceptional personality, journalist or publicist, organisation, responsible employer or an exemplar municipality. Do you know about an exceptional cultural ensemble or an act deserving of special appreciation? Maybe it will be your nomination that will get among this year’s 21 finalists and thus on the radar of the general public!

Nominations for the Roma Spirit 2022 are open until 7 September.
    

Roma Spirit is a public award and promotes inspirational stories and activities, which ameliorate challenges of the Roma communities in Slovakia as well as our society as a whole. During its thirteen years 1844 activities, projects, organisations and exceptional individuals have been nominated and the award has been received by 83 winners. Roma Spirit 2022 is announced by the Association for Culture, Education and Communication (ACEC), Office of the Plenipotentiary of the Government of the Slovak Republic for Roma Communities, and Radio and Television of Slovakia (RTVS). The Roma Spirit 2022 event is held under the auspices of the President of the Slovak Republic Zuzana Čaputová.
